Think-beasts: messages of art and hope to sow in the city
After an uncertain 2020 year, la Fondation Desperados pour l’art urbain wanted to open a new cycle with optimism.
She entrusted the artist Jérôme G. Demuth with the creation of an artistic project with meaning and sweetness: Beast thinking. Through this urban intervention, the artist diverts the familiar format of post-it to include inspirational quotations from great names of art that marked his thought. These small coloured notes, scattered throughout the city, become bursts of poetry of everyday life. — so many benevolent reminders of the presence of art, the power of words and the possibility of a new beginning. With these « think-beasts » of great masters, Jérôme G. Demuth invites passers-by·to slow down, think, smile... and maybe, and adopt these inspiring messages to write a year full of promises.
