Module763: Claude Blo Ricci's first perennial sculpture
The Fondation Desperados accompanies Claude Blo Ricci in a new stage of his artistic practice: the creation of Module763, his first sculpture installed in the public space.
Inspired by the technique of collage dear to the artist, Module763 is a dynamic and vibrant composition, made up of abstract structures that merge into a subtle game of balance. Monumental and colourful, it invites a sensory and spatial experience.
« I wanted to explore my principle of composition in space. Create a volume offering several points of view, inviting the spectator to move around, to measure, to understand from different angles, or even to cross it », explains Blo.
The work was installed on the François Mitterrand planade in Sotteville-lès-Rouen. By supporting this project, La Fondation reaffirms its commitment to the emergence of ambitious works in the urban landscape — and to empower artists to expand their practice.
