A project committed to young urban creation
From 15 November to 10 December 2021, ‎ la‎ Fondation‎ Desperados‎ pour‎ l’art‎ urbain Presents Season 2 of Shared Impressions, an artistic project that celebrates the vitality of the emerging urban scene in the region. In collaboration with four local cultural associations – Bayah Dezign (Toulouse), Collectif Renart (Lille), Just Here (Besançon) and Spacejunk (Grenoble) – La Fondation selected 16 young urban artists, each invited to create an original work, printed in 65 signed and numbered copies.

1,000 works to share, free of charge
In a spirit of generosity and sharing, dear to the world of street art, the works are offered to the public in two complementary ways:

Online, via a free booking module on the website of La Fondationopen from 16 November 2021 (within the limits of available copies).

In the region, at major cultural events organized by partner associations:
• Lay Up – Toulouse (Bayah Dezign)
• Art – Lille (Collective Renart)
• Well Urban – Besançon (Just Here)
• Street Art Fest – Grenoble (Spacejunk)

A month to discover artists and their works
For several weeks, La Fondation honours partner cities and their artists on its Instagram account. Every week, a city is highlighted through a series of immersive content: reports by Arthur Bessaud, portraits of artists, behind the scenes of creation... A creative and human rendezvous to dive into the richness of the local urban scene. The works are unveiled over the days and made available to the public via a free reservation system. A simple and generous way to invite everyone to bring urban art home.

A local and collective project
Shared Impressions also enhances local know-how: all screen printing has been carried out with regional workshops, in a logic of short circuits and highlighting young professionals.
To extend the experience, La Fondation support the creation of a work in the public space for one artist per city, and propose a collective exhibition bringing together the 16 screenprints created as part of the project.
